The safari will take you to one of Uganda’s small savanna national parks, Lake Mburo National Park where you may see different wild animals such as the gigantic eland antelope, topis, impalas, sitatungas, bush duikers, among others. The five lakes within the park also attract hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds, while fringing swamps hide secretive papyrus specialists such as the sitatunga antelope.
Wake up early in the morning for a game drive through the park. After breakfast take a guided nature walk to the Salt lick area where you might be able to see three different animal species. In the afternoon take on a boat trip on Lake Mburo where you will see different animals at the lake shores as well as water birds. You will relax in the evening as you prepare for a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

You will have lunch, and then visit the local communities to have an experience of their lifestyles and culture or take a nature walk in the forest or relax at the lodge.
