Bwindi Fly-in Safari
Day 1- Flight from Entebbe Airport To Kisoro Airstrip
On day one, take a booked scheduled morning flight from Entebbe International Airport to either Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip near Bwindi. On arrival, a safari vehicle transfers guests to their lodge in Bwindi where they can relax, have lunch, and optionally enjoy a community or nature walk in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight are spent at the lodge nestled close to the park.
Day 2- Gorilla trekking adventure begins
Day two starts early with breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing on trekking protocols. Trekking into the rainforest begins thereafter, lasting from a short 30-minute hike to several hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families.
Once the gorillas are found, guests enjoy an unforgettable one-hour encounter with these majestic animals, observing their behaviors and taking photographs. After the trek, the group returns to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Day 3- Fly back to Entebbe airport
On the final day, after breakfast and check-out, guests are transferred back to the airstrip for their return flight to Entebbe, concluding the safari.
