3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari
Day 1 - Transfer to Bwindi National Park

The safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala, followed by a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the route, stop at the Equator for photos and a brief break. Further stops may include cultural visits or lunch at local centers such as the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara. The journey takes approximately 8 to 9 hours, ending with check-in at a lodge for dinner and rest, preparing for the thrilling gorilla trek the next day.
Day 2 - Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a mandatory briefing on gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines. The trek into the dense Bwindi forest can last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas' location, and involves hiking through varied terrain. Upon finding the habituated gorilla family, visitors spend up to one hour observing and photographing these incredible primates, witnessing their daily behaviors and social interactions. After the trek, return to lodge for lunch and may choose to visit the Batwa pygmy community in the afternoon for a cultural experience.
Day 3 - Return to Kampala or Entebbe
On the final day, enjoy breakfast before beginning the return drive to Kampala or Entebbe. The trip back again provides opportunities to stop at the Equator for photos or to visit local markets for souvenirs. The safari concludes with drop-off at the airport or accommodations in Kampala, marking the end of an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
