Gorilla Permit Costs & Booking
A gorilla trekking permit in Uganda is issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and is required to trek in either Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Permits are limited to a small number of trekkers per gorilla family per day, so early booking is strongly recommended — especially for the June–September and December–February peak seasons.
We handle the entire permit process for you, including guidance on seasonal discounted permits available in the quieter travel months. Reach out and we’ll confirm current pricing and availability for your travel dates.
